Lamangata Named to Oprah Daily’s 2026 Hotel O-wards

Oprah Daily has named Lamangata Luxury Surf Resort to its 2026 Hotel O-wards, a curated annual list of wellness-focused retreats selected from properties across six continents. Lamangata is one of only two Costa Rica properties recognized on this year’s list.

The O-wards highlight hotels, resorts, and retreats chosen for experiences centered on wellness, personal reset, and transformation. In its recognition of Lamangata, Oprah Daily spotlights the resort’s personalized surf coaching, post-surf video review sessions, daily yoga, ocean-view infinity pool, and gourmet meals sourced in part from the property’s on-site greenhouse.

Set 1,200 feet above Costa Rica’s Dominical break on the southern Pacific coast, Lamangata offers six ocean-view suites and an all-inclusive experience built around expert instruction, curated itineraries, and farm-to-table dining. The resort accommodates a maximum of 12 guests at a time, allowing the team to personalize every aspect of each stay.
